How we Help Mums

We have been providing osteopathic care for pre and post natal mums for the past 15 years. Pre natal mums may suffer with pain and discomfort as they adapt to their changing body. We can help with things like Restricted joints, Nausea, structural and spinal changes, plantar fasciitis (sore heels) lower back pain, headaches, carpal tunnel and water retention.
Post natal mums may need help with blocked milk ducts, Lumbopelvic dysfunction, back and neck pain, C-section scar tissue alignment, Lymph drainage, sleep challenges and more! Like all new dads it can all be quite overwhelming and sometimes stressful in balancing time with the family and work. This can lead to additional tension in the body that can be seen due to headaches, tightness in the neck and back etc. We see lots of dads for their muscular skeletal aches and pains. We have literally seen thousands of babies over the years. The regular issues we tend to treat include latching and feeding issues, digestive problems, plagiocephaly, torticolis, sleep problems and growth related issues.
