Hi, I’m Kathy, the founder of Pregnant and Popped. Like many of you, I’ve juggled the demands of running a business while raising a family. I know how lonely and overwhelming it can feel trying to figure everything out on your own.
A SOLO JOURNEY, FULL OF CHALLENGES
When I started my Postpartum Doula business during Covid, there was no guidebook for running a perinatal business. I learned everything on the fly – marketing, balancing finances, and managing clients. It was tough, and at times, isolating.
FINDING MY LIFELINE
Joining business communities saved me. They gave me support, connection, and the push I needed to keep going. But I realised none of these networks truly spoke to the unique needs of perinatal professionals.
